Belimbing – Muncak Sari Trekking

Early morning we drive to the West part of Bali to the foot of Mt. Batukaru to begin Belimbing Munduk Sari Trekking.

First walk we will start from Makori Temple in  Belimbing Village. The Temple is surrounded by forest, and the spiritual atmosphere is high here.We will walk down and up the hill to the end of the trek. The people construct the rice fields here depending on the counter of the land where ever the water can irrigate the rice fields.If there is no water can not flew down the fields, there will be cultivated by cash crop like hot pepper ,chilly, soy bean  etc.The village is well known as the most beautiful rice terraces and beautiful views on the Island. On the way , we will walk  through rice field , coffee plantation , rivers, bamboo bride, jungle, hill and valleys, bamboo forest and small remote village and we will also see animals on the trek but seeing animal are not quarantee on the trek.Normally we see jungle fowl , rare birds .The track takes about  5 hours on non asphalt path. The track will finish at Muncak Sari Temple and the picnic Lunch will be served around this area.The temple is huge area and nestle in cool border of forest and farmer land. The track is a comprehensive of agriculture of the mountain plantation like rice ,coffee,cacao,banana, or shortly we can say vegetation from low land to high altitude.Then we drive back through different road with scenic view.Late afternoon we arrive at the hotel.
