This hiking tour as we created for you would like to explore the highest jungle mountain in Bali named mount Abang, in this adventure ,we will hike up to visit some very unique Temple that is located in the jungle and on the top of the mount Abang, Bali.Beside that we also will be able to see amazing view of Batur lake, the lake of mount Batur, mount Agung and mount Rinjani in the eastern part of the Island. The view from the top is really breathtaking with sometimes cloud formations surrounding the lake and volcano on the back side,and mount Agung,the naval of the world,along with a picturesque coastline on the other,on the way going up to reach the top you have to be careful going through the path to the summit because it’s a bit slippery and the trail is narrow with many hole made by the flow of rainy water during the rainy season ,you have to wear trekking shoes, (not sport shoes) so you can easily pass that terrain and also bring trekking stick to avoid slippery. apart from it all, you can enjoy fresh air with a very extraordinary view at the summit.

For hiking to mount Abang , we as a Bali hikers can classified this trek into 3 steps. The first trek is starting from the parking area a little bit flat till to the first post with tropical plantation where we will meet the first temple. Here we can take break about five to ten minutes , drinking water,and get refreshment while stretching our muscles. The second trek we will start from here but the way up a little bit steep and narrow , we takes about one hour to reach the third post, this is the temple built and flat that why we can settle camp hire .From the second temple or the post two, we will walk up again about one hour and half to reach the summit.The summit is a flat area where the temple is built, and also a good place for Camping or one night camping. The area is cultivated by pines threes. Here the view is fantastic .

Mount Abang which is located in Bangli Regency around 60 kilometers from Denpasar city, the capital city of Bali province. Bangli regency itself is situated in the middle of Bali Island. Therefore, this regency has no coastal area. The height of mount Abang is 2,152 meters above sea level. It is the second highest mountain in Bali. The peak of the mountain can be reached by hiking in more or less 3.5 hours. Mount Abang is the 3rd highest mountain on Bali and is located on the southeast side of Batur Lake and 10.6km northwest of Gunung Agung – the highest point on the island.

Mount Abang Sunrise Trekking Itinerary :

• 11.30 pm: From your Hotel
• 01.00 a.m.: Arrival at the Registration office of Mount Abang Trekking
• 01.30 am : We will drop you to the where the trek begins, the climb up to the peak of Mount Abang will be accompanied by an experience Local Guide.
• 02.45 am : Stop in the first Temple, and short break and drink mineral water
• 04.00 am : Second Break at the Andong Temple for drink water again
• 05.45 am : Arrive at the peak of Mount Abang while waiting for the sweet brisk sunrise
• 05.45 – 08.00 am : Enjoy the sunrise an opportunity of heaving the view of there nearby Batur Mountain, Agung Mountain, and Rinjani Mountain in Lombok, also view down with Abang Village.Preparing to serve breakfast box, making coffee or tea made by our guide.
• 08.00 am : Back to the jungle of Abang Mountain and see the many kind of tress and the small temple with amazing view down there.
• 11.00 am : Arrive back at the Local Guide office, where the driver waiting for us.
