Mount Batur Sun Rise Trekking and Black lava Cycling

This is the combination between Mount Batur Sunrise trekking and Ubud Cycling, beginning with Mount Batur Sunrise trekking in the morning and then followed by black lava Cycling.
Starting in early morning, we pick up you about 02.00am if you stay in Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and at 03.00 am if you stay in Ubud area then we drive directly to the cooler climate of Kintamani in Batur village. The mount Batur caldera is actually old mountain in Indonesia that is stretching the line from west to east of Indonesian archipelago .Mount Batur was erupted since 1814 and the recent one was in 2000 but there was not so big. We will do hiking the mountain in different way through Toya Bungkah .The trek starts from the entrance ticket where the people usually begin the hike then walk up via the small path on the pine trees forest with totally different from another trails. The trail is less steeper than another way but it look green and we walk under shady tree then on the rocky step up to reach the top. We arrive before the sun rise appear in the east a few minutes then we wait them till it true appear on a clear weather. The sun rise is really beautiful covered by little red cloud and mount Rinjani far away in distance. While enjoying the sun rise , we make hot coffee and also prepared breakfast by our local adventure guide. The guide gave us a lot of information about the culture including geological mount Batur. Then we take a walk to the new crater in west part of the mountain and we passing the steam then try to cook egg and banana. We just wait till 15 minutes and ready to eat because we cook it quickly. Proceed to see the last crater and get beautiful shot we go down through black sand and rocky stone. Then we take mountain bike ,paddling from the car park via asphalt road, verdant local plantation, and around the foot of mount Batur .The trek is also passing the black lava road on a snake way and not asphalt at all .We take cycling about 3 hours and passing many different plantation that grew up by local people. They also plant union, garlic, cabbage, tomatos, and many varieties of vegetables. The trek will finish at Kedisan village then drive up to local restaurant to have lunch. From the restaurant we will see the activities that we have done before and very interesting. Then we drive back to your hotel.

Cycling can be done in Black Lava or in Kintamani to Ubud.

• 02.00-03.00 am Pick up from hotel direct transfer to Pura Jati
• 03.45-04.00 am Arrive at starting point in Pura Jati Kintamani
• 04.00 am Preparing climbing, flash light, water etc and start climbing, local our guide
• 05.30-06.00 am Arrive at the first crater to see sunrise and resting
• 06.00-07.00 am Making coffee or tea and having breakfast
• 07.15 am Continue walking to another crater and then go back down
• 09.15 am Arrive back at the parking and transfer to restaurant
• 09.35-10.00 am Having coffee or tea with fried banana
• 10.00 am Check bike, briefing for riding and begin down hill cycling to Ubud
• 13.00-13.30 pm Arrive at the restaurant in Ubud and finish cycling
• 13.30-14.00 pm Lunch time in restaurant
• 14.15-14.30 pm Transfer back to hotel
