Mount Batur Sun Rise Trekking + Hot Spring

Mount Batur Sun Rise Trekking is the most popular destination for Bali Trekking, it is located in the village of Batur in Kintamani, Bangli. The mountain is still active up to now and erupted many time since 1906,1963,1973 and the last one in 2000.The view is really amazing from the top of the volcano, we will see the crater lake called Batur lake, mount Abang, Agung and the surrounding area.

Early in the morning at 02.00 am, we pick you up from you hotel to the milder climate of 1200 meters above sea level to begin your 1.5 hours – 2 hours trek to the top of 1717 meters to see sun rise. From here you will see the magnificent view of the red when it appears during sun light. We walk around the rim of the volcanic cone to see the crater of the last eruption. This volcano is still active up to now and it was last eruption in 2000.En-route of the trek,we will see a lot of vegetable grow up on the slope of mount Batur.Some people plant,paprica,tomatoes,peper,union, cabbages, potatoes and much more … When you are arrive at the top of volcano, you will find many steam come out from the ceiling of the stones that can be used to cook egg or banana just about 15 minutes well cooked.While you are enjoying the sun rise, you will be served with traditional breakfast,making coffee or tea with beautiful view on east part of the mountain.Descending from the crater we will be back down to the black lava which was originally flow down during the first and second eruption. Breakfast on the top of volcano.Then we drive back to your hotel and you can stop at Coffee Luwak farm or rice terrace in Tegallalang.
