Mount Catur Trekking 2 Days / 1 Night

Mount Catur Trekking is one of the most popular trekking destination around Bedugul area since the area is closed by the most popular tourist destination of Ulun danu Temple,lake Beratan and Munduk tourist resort in north Bali. All the trek is covered by magical rain forest and the view is awesome of Tamblingan lake,Buyan lake and Bali Handara golf coast. Mount Catur Trekking is also place for worshiper of local people because on the top of the mountain there is a temple standstill. The trek is good also for the person of avoid crowed. Mount Catur Trekking or Puncak Manggu

Day 01.

Pick up in the morning at 06.30 am from the hotel and drive up to Pelaga area to begin your trekking. The trek starts from the forest through stunning view of northern and southern valley. This trek is really amazing view of northern and southern of Bali, north Bali can be seen from up here. The trek will pass tropical rain forest , isolated temple and amazing Pura Puncak Mangu on the altitude of 2096 meters above sea level. The trek begin from the border of forest at the village of Plaga lead up on paved path on the tropical rain forest. This forest is rich of flora and fauna .Our qualified and experience guide will lead you up and show up something on the forest. The forest is very rich of mountain vegetation ,there is wild orchid, lianas, ferns and mossy tree. The trek takes about 3 hours walking up and it is suitable for age 15 to 45 years old. Picnic lunch will be served at the temple of mount Catur. Be aware of monkey will come to your place to ask some food that you have eaten. The type of monkey is black monkey, Macaw. After having picnic lunch we go down different way with a lot of step from the root of the trees with amazing view of Beratan lake, village and temple surrounding. Then we drive about 15 minutes to the local hotel where we will having rest and overnight. Overnight at hotel around Bedugul area.

Tamblingan Jungle Trekking and Lake Canoeing

Day 02.

Breakfast at the hotel, then continue for Jungle Trekking around the Lake of Buyan and Tamblingan lake for about 3 hours walking and then followed by lake Canoeing for about 45 minutes .The trek is easier than before on flat soil path .It is also on the forest but a little bit mix plantation starting from Damar forest, Rasamala forest and Indonesian tropical rain forest . Here the forest is reboisation and reforestation of the trees and keep tightly by government. During the trek , you will see many temples located on the forest from smaller to a bigger ones. First we will pass Gunung Anyar temple, Tajun temple, Ulun Danu temple, Dalem temple, Pande temple, and Gubug temple. All those temple are maintained and worshiped by Catur Desa or four villages nearby the temples. Then followed by traditional wooden canoe to cross the lake on fresh water and green environment of the lake. The canoe is a double canoe to ensure the safety of the guest crossing the lake. Then drive to local restaurant for having lunch. Late afternoon drive back to your hotel.
