The trek starts from Pejeng village toward north part of the village through rice paddy field, water irrigation, river bank, and tropical plantation such as banana, coconut, coffee, cacao, small village temple etc. This trek also pass the village that produces a lot of handy craft from wood ( wood carving) and many other hand made handicraft. Pejeng trekking is a comprehensive trekking package describes about the activities of local people from in the morning to night time. The foot step beginning from small concrete path ,rice fields, irrigation system, water canal, and forest. During this trekking, you will also see people making knife from the iron and also hand weaving clothes .The trek is mostly seeing about farmer’s life ,beginning with working in the rice fields, how they make rice, cultivating the seed, when they have to plant it,up to maintain the sprout become rice. On the other side they have to think about how to used the soil become fertile that enable them to grow rice till get a good yield. Some farmers stimulating the soil by giving fertilizer both chemical fertilizer or dung or bio compost. You can also learn about how to harvest Bali rice and new variety of rice ,the way is different to each other in fact.If you harvest Bali rice ,you have to cut the top of rice only but if you harvest new variety of rice ,you have to cut the whole part of them ,then thrusting them to get the seed only. The trek takes about 2.5 hours from starting to the end.   This is also good to see the daily life of Balinese routine life as a farmer and as an artist. The trek is suitable for all ages. Then we drive about 30 minutes  by car passing elephant cave temple and Ubud center. Lunch will be held at the local restaurant in Ubud tourist resort surrounded by beautiful rice fields, and garden.
